The Kato Steel Illuminated Bumper Track operates off of track power and requires zero wiring - just attach to the end of your spur and it's ready to go. This bumper is ideal for modelers who are operating stub-end spur tracks and switching yards and want to be able to tell at a glance if a track is live or not. The Steel Illuminated Bumper Track is 100% compatible with DCC.

This modular track system features nickel-silver rails fully integrated to a remarkably realistic-looking roadbed. The patented Unijoiners (included) lock the track sections together firmly and evenly. The frustration of derailments resulting from uneven rail joints and separating sections is eliminated.
 
There's no need to glue down cork roadbed; tack down track sections and file rail connections smooth after soldering. Simply snap it together and you're ready to go.
