HO Scale Walthers Cornerstone 933-3040 Car Shop Building Kit
OEM in Package/Box
The prototypes for railroad buildings like the Walthers Cornerstone HO Scale Car Shop evolved into long, specialized structures dedicated to freight or passenger car repairs. Several tracks ran the entire length of the building so cars could be moved quickly between workstations handling trucks, brakes, interiors and other appliances. Perfect for servicing any kind of equipment, this kit features a modular design so several can be combined to build a larger building, and it's a natural for modeling all kinds of heavy industries.
Without the car shop, a railroad just doesn't run. Big enough to look right, small enough to fit steam or diesel-era layouts, this model is packed with features. Detailed brickwork, an authentic saw-tooth style roof with skylights, separate windows, roll-up doors, openings in the floor for rail, everything right down to the decals, is included. The basic Car Shop kit as shown builds a three-stall shop measuring 11-5/8 x 8-13/16 x 7-5/8" 29.5 x 22.4 x 19.4cm.

town along a busy highway. Like the prototypes, this detailed,
easy-to-build kit (the prototypes were kits too!) includes streamlined
fluted sides, large windows and a complete interior with tables,
stools and counter, plus a small outdoor refrigerator shed and
colorful signs.
